Howdy!

I am Michael Rosen, the creator behind Michael Rosen Designs! I am originally from Houston, Texas, but I’ve been living in New York City for over 12 years now, and while you can take me out of the South, you definitely can’t take the South out of me! 

Needlepoint is my passion, but I also get to be creative in my day job. I’m a Senior Print Designer working in Intimates & Sleepwear, where I get to design prints and work in the fashion industry! I feel very lucky that I get to do everything that I love every single day.

I was born and raised in a Jewish household, and my roots are a huge part of who I am and what I create. You’ll find little pieces of my background sprinkled throughout my designs, whether it’s in my Southern Sayings collection, my Holiday designs, or just a little something that makes me smile.

For me, needlepoint is all about having fun, being a little cheeky, and creating things that you actually want to stitch and display. I love coming up with new ideas, funny sayings, colorful designs, and collections that feel like me.

I’m just getting started, and I’m so excited to keep dreaming up new designs, growing Michael Rosen Designs, and making a little name for myself in the needlepoint world.
